Date & Tamarind Chutney



1 200g Supreme Tamarind block, broken into smaller pieces
1 cup dates, pitted & chopped
½ – ⅓ cup Supreme Jaggery (adjust sweetness as per your preference)
1 tsp Supreme Black salt
1tsp Supreme Cumin Powder
1tsp Supreme Chilli Powder
Salt to taste
4 cups of water


Add tamarind, dates, jaggery & water to a pot, bring to a boil over medium-high heat and cook for 30 mins. Stir in black salt, cumin powder, chilli powder, salt and cook for another 5-10 minutes. Cool the mixture then strain through a fine mesh sieve (use a spoon and scrape the sieve to extract as much pulp as you can). Transfer into a airtight jar and store in the fridge.
