
Ingredients:
50g butter
500g date paste
5 cups rice krispies
1 cup Supreme Coarse Dessicated Coconut
Pinch of sea salt
100g dark chocolate- broken into smaller pieces
100g milk chocolate- broken into smaller pieces
Method:
Line a 9 x 13 inch tray with greaseproof paper
Heat a pan over medium heat. Add butter and once melted add the date paste. Let the date paste heat up then mix into the butter until well combined until the paste becomes soft and pliable. Remove from heat and add the rice krispies, sea salt and dessicated coconut. Mix together until well combined then transfer to the prepared tray and press down (using a spoon, cup or hands) to flatten into an even layer.
Add milk and dark chocolate into a heatproof bowl. Melt in the microwave or over a double boiler. Pour the melted chocolate on top and spread evenly. Set aside to cool completely then slice into bites and serve.
