Toffee Apple Slices



2 apples, cut into chunky slices
Wooden lolly sticks
300g Dairy toffee (individually wrapped) sweets
Pinch of sea salt
¼ cup Supreme Almonds, roughly chopped
¼ cup Supreme Pistachios, finely chopped
Oil to grease


Line and grease a baking sheet and set aside. Insert a wooden stick into each apple slice and set aside. Add caramels in a saucepan and stirring constantly, cook over low heat until caramel melts and is smooth. Stir in sea salt. Keep the saucepan over low heat and working quickly, take the apple stick over the saucepan and using a silicone spatula add a generous amount of melted caramel on one side. Scrape excess caramel from the apple bottoms and place on greased baking sheet. Sprinkle over with chopped almonds and chopped pistachios. Repeat the same with remaining apple slices. Once set, serve immediately.
