500g beef, chopped into fine cubes
3 medium onions, chopped finely
1 tsp Supreme Cumin Powder
2 tsp Supreme Coarse Black Pepper
1 tsp Supreme Chilli Powder
1 tsp Supreme Garlic & Ginger Paste
Salt to taste
¼ cup water boiling water
2 tbsp gravy granules

Dough:
2 cups bread flour
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
1 cup plus warm water
2 tbsp melted butter
1 tbsp sugar
Salt to taste

Topping:
1 egg, whisked
Supreme white Sesame Seeds
Supreme Black Sesame Seeds

METHOD

In a bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in water and set aside for 10 minutes until yeast has activated. In a large mixing bowl add flour, salt and butter, and mix well. Gradually pour enough yeast mixture to form a soft dough. (You may not need a full 1 cup of yeast mixture). Turn onto a floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes. Place in a greased bowl; turn once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour. Meanwhile, heat a large pan, add beef, onions, salt, black pepper and garlic and ginger paste. Cover and cook until beef is tender. In a bowl dissolve gravy granules in ¼ cup boiling water, set aside. Add cumin powder and chili powder, cook for few minutes then add the gravy mix and continue to cook until thickened. Remove from heat; set aside to cool. Punch dough down and divide into 12 pieces. Gently roll out each piece into a 5-in. circle. Using your fingers press the edges down. Add 2 tbsp of filling and fold dough over filling to meet in the centre; pinch edges to seal. Place seam side down on a baking sheet. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 30 minutes. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with black and white sesame Seeds. Bake at 200° for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
