Onion & Potato Pakoras

INGREDIENTS

1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 large potato, thinly sliced
1 cup Supreme Gram Flour
1 tsp Supreme Kasuri Methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
1 tsp Supreme Turmeric Powder
1 ½ tsp Supreme Garam Masala
½ – 1 tsp Supreme Chilli Powder
Salt to taste
2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
1 tsp Supreme Garlic and Ginger Paste
1 tsp Supreme Ajwain (carom seeds)
1 tsp Supreme Cumin Seeds
Water
Oil to deep fry

METHOD

In a large bowl add sliced onions, sliced potatoes, kasuri methi, turmeric powder, garam masala, chilli powder, salt, green chillies, garlic and ginger paste, ajwain seeds, cumin seeds and gram flour. Mix together (with your hands) so that all ingredients are coated in gram flour. Pour small amounts of water to create a thick batter that evenly coats the vegetables. Heat enough oil (to deep fry) over medium-high heat and once oil is hot enough gently drop a tbsp of the mixture into the oil and fry until golden brown.
