Chicken Pakora



1 chicken breast cut into 1 inch pieces
I medium onion, finely chopped
2 green chillies, finely chopped
1 tsp Supreme Ginger Garlic Paste
1 tsp Supreme Ajwain (Carom Seeds)
1 tsp Supreme Tandoori Masala
½ tsp Supreme Kasuri Methi
½ tsp Supreme Garam Masala
½ – 1 tsp Supreme Chilli Powder
½ tsp Supreme Turmeric Powder
Salt to taste
1 ½ cups Supreme Besan (gram/chickpea flour)
½ tsp baking powder
Handful of fresh coriander, finely chopped
Oil to deep fry


In a bowl mix together chicken pieces, chopped onions, chopped green chillies, ginger garlic paste, ajwain, tandoori masala, kasuri methi, garam masala, chilli powder, turmeric powder, chopped coriander and salt. Sift in flour, baking powder and add enough water to create a smooth and thick batter. Heat enough oil in a karahi or large pot over medium heat. Gently add spoonful of the mixture into the oil and fry until cooked through, crisp and golden all over. Remove using a slotted spoon and drain on kitchen paper. Serve immediately with sauces and chutneys.
