French Almond Cake



130g salted butter, softened
140g caster sugar
100g Supreme Almond Powder
30g self raising flour
2 tbsp milk
3 eggs
2 tsp almond extract
Supreme Flaked Almonds
Icing sugar


Preheat oven to 180°c. Grease and line a 9 inch springform cake pan and set aside. Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and using an electric mixer or hand whisk, mix until light and fluffy. Gently tip batter into the prepared pan and spread the batter evenly. Sprinkle flaked almonds over the top and bake for 25-30 mins in preheated oven until fully cooked (when a skewer is inserted into the centre, it comes out clean). Remove from oven and cool. Dust with icing sugar before serving. Note: Cover the top with foil about 10-15 minutes into baking to prevent the top from over browning
