Beef Udon Noodles



2 tbsp sesame oil
300g beef, cut into thin strips
600g straight to wok udon noodles
1 red pepper cut into thin strips
6 spring onions, sliced
Salt to taste
Pinch of Supreme Coarse Black Pepper

½ cup soy sauce
⅓ cup brown sugar
¼ cup vinegar
1 tbsp Supreme Ginger Paste
1 tbsp Supreme Garlic Paste
¼ cup cornflour
1 tbsp Supreme Chilli Flakes

Greens of spring onions
Supreme Sesame Seeds


In a bowl, mix together all ingredients for the sauce and set aside. Heat sesame oil in a large wok over high heat. Once heated, add beef strips, pinch of salt and coarse black pepper and stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Add the whites of the spring onions and red pepper and stir fry for another 1-2 minutes. Now, stir the sauce, add to the wok and cook until thickened. Finally add udon noodles and ¾ of the green parts of spring onion and stir well. Continue to cook until noodles are heated through. Garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds and serve immediately
