1 cup plain flour
2 tbsp corn flour
1 tsp instant yeast
1 tsp of sugar
1 tbsp of yogurt
Pinch of salt
½ cup warm milk
¼ cup warm water
Oil for deep frying
¼ cup oil

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
5 Supreme Cardamom pods
Pinch of Supreme Saffron

Supreme pistachios, ground to a powder


In a bowl add warm water, sugar and yeast plain flour, corn flour, salt and yogurt. Mix together to form a smooth batter. Cover and rest in a warm place for 1 hour. Prepare syrup: add sugar, saffron, cardamom pods and water to a saucepan and boil until the syrup thickens. Remove from heat and let syrup cool to room temperature. Heat oil over medium heat. Dip a teaspoon in oil and drop small portions of batter in oil (it will form a round shape). Fry until golden brown all over . Drain and coat the fried dumpling in the syrup then take out, sprinkle with ground pistachio and serve.
