Banana Bread

Ingredients:

115g softened butter 

½ cup caster sugar 

½ dark brown sugar 

2 eggs 

2 cups plain flour, sifted 

1 tsp vanilla extract 

½ tsp bicarbonate of soda 

½ tsp salt

3 ripe bananas, mashed 

¾ cup Supreme Walnuts, finely chopped 

½ cup dark chocolate chips 

Method: 
Preheat the oven at 175°c and prepare and line a loaf tin. 
Add butter, caster sugar and brown sugar into a large mixing bowl. Whisk together until smooth and creamy. Add eggs, salt, vanilla extract and mashed bananas. Mix well until well combined then add flour and bicarbonate of soda. Mix until no flour pockets remain. Mix in walnuts and chocolate chips. Pour and spread the batter into the prepared baking pan. Bake for 60–65 minutes. The bread is done when a toothpick/ skewer inserted in the center comes out clean with only a few small moist crumbs.
Remove bread from the oven and allow the bread to cool in the pan for 5 minutes then remove the bread from the pan and cool directly on the wire rack until ready to slice and serve.
