
INGREDIENTS
ÂĽ cup oil
Âľ cup mix coloured pepper chopped into small piecesÂ
Âľ cup red onion, chopped into small piecesÂ
250g paneer cut into small chunks Â
1 tsp Supreme Garlic Ginger PasteÂ
2 tbsp Supreme Tandoori MasalaÂ
1 tbsp Supreme Kashmiri Chilli PowderÂ
1 tsp Supreme Garam MasalaÂ
2 tbsp tomato pasteÂ
â…“ cup ketchupÂ
Salt to tasteÂ
4 pitta breadÂ
Grated mozzarella cheeseÂ
Pinch of oregano
METHOD
Heat the oil over medium heat, add paneer and fry until the edges turn golden. Add ginger garlic paste, tomato paste, tandoori powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, garam masala and salt to taste. Stir well and cook for 3-4 minutes, then add onions and peppers. Turn the heat down to low and cook until onions and peppers soften slightly. Lastly stir in ketchup, cook for 3-4 minutes then remove from heat and set a cool slightly. Preheat the oven at 180°c.
Place the pitta bread on a baking tray and top with a handful of grated mozzarella. Then spoon over some of the paneer mixture on top of the cheese. Sprinkle over a little more mozzarella and lastly a pinch of oregano. Bake in a preheated oven for 20-22 minutes or until the pita is slightly crisp and the cheese has melted.
