INGREDIENTS
1 cup Lubna Super Kernel Rice, cooked, drained and cooled
1 ½ cup yogurt
½ cup milk
1 tbsp Sugar
2 tbsp oil
½ tsp Supreme Mustard Seeds
½ tsp Supreme Cumin Seeds
1 ½ tsp Supreme Chana Dal
½ tsp Supreme Urad Dal
15 Supreme Curry Leaves
½ tsp Supreme Ginger Garlic Paste
3 Supreme Whole Red Chilli
Pinch of Hing (asafoetida)
Garnish:
Chopped coriander
METHOD
In a bowl mix together: cooked and cooled rice, yogurt, milk and sugar. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add cumin and mustard seeds, and once they start to splutter add chana dal, urad dal and red chillies. Fry until dal turns golden, then add ginger garlic paste, curry leaves and hing. Cook until curry leaves turn crisp, remove from heat then pour temper over the rice. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve.
